Data Solutions PartnerAre you a leader who can drive growth of pensions data projects? This opportunity places you at the heart of our Data Solutions Team, providing you with a pivotal leadership role and the chance to demonstrate and expand your established network to drive growth.
We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon's UK Retirement business. This large and growing team delivers strategic data consulting, data cleanse, benefit rectification and system implementation work on projects such as buy-in to buy-out cleanse, GMP rectification, and GMP equalisation system implementation.

What the day will look like
- We are seeking an individual to join the leadership team of the Data Solutions group, with a primary focus on driving growth.
- You will be responsible for overseeing our market-facing propositions, ensuring that we are articulating to clients and the wider market how our offering adds significant value
- You will use and/or develop strong relationships in the market to build our industry presence in this space and communicate our excitement about our offering
- You will develop a strong internal network, becoming a go-to person within both the team and within the wider business
- You will help ensure a joined up growth strategy across the team, for example by identifying areas where we need to evolve to increase capacity
- You will help resolve client challenges and counter competitive threats, by articulating the value of our approach, providing support to others, and leading client conversations as appropriate
- You will mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture and supporting their growth
- You will take ownership of generating new business opportunities, helping shape and grow our pipeline over the coming years
- You will also play a broader leadership role in the team - for example, leading significant projects with clients, or leading an area of the team

Skills and experience that will lead to success
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A passion for thought leadership and market engagement
- Deep knowledge of the DB projects and the data solutions market, with established relationships across the industry
- Technical expertise to develop and articulate solutions, and lead projects with clients
- Proven experience in business development and market engagement
- Ability to lead and influence internal and external stakeholders to create and protect opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong executive presence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, whilst setting direction in a dynamic environment
- Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to driving improvements in how we articulate our propositions and value
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, develop and guide team members
