Description
Marsh Specialty UK, is undertaking many business and placement projects that are central to the business strategy. We are seeking a talented individual to primarily review all our products (facilities/ binders / line slips etc) and MGAs and to deliver an evolving programme of change, enabling the future success of the business. This role requires deep understanding of the London Insurance Market and MGA and product models.This role will be based in London with a hybrid set up, with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Oversee and ensure that MGA usage aligns with the Marsh's Global Placement Strategy.
- Evaluate and monitor MGA partnerships to confirm they are accretive, delivering measurable value and strategic benefits to the business.
- Evaluate and make recommendations as to future approach for all MGA defined as per Marsh definitions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and risk assessments of MGAs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver Management Information to placement leaders and product (be that facilities / binders etc) owners in each business unit, in order to monitor performance of products and MGA's and identify opportunities, working at all times with Data & Analytics colleagues in the broader UK Specialty central team.
- Work with Victor (Marsh MGA) to understand potential benefits and align to use of existing third-party MGA's and /or products.
- Monitoring external trends assessing opportunities to expand the value proposition of Marsh products and/or products.
- Work with Placement Leaders, Facility Owners and Marsh Portfolio Solutions to realize selected high profile product opportunities, aligned with plans for each segment.This includes defining strategy to drive adoption through removing barriers to product / MGA trading and processes.
- Assist in codifying rules to 'match' products and MGA offerings aligned to Marsh digital placement strategy.
Additional responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end project management, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Take ownership and drive project outcomes, provide updates, and communicate project milestones to stakeholders.
- Prepare and support the business for change, driving user adoption of any new processes or tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, allocate resources, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate a clear and consistent reason for change, regularly updating all internal stakeholders on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Cascade change throughout the organization, empowering leaders and teams to own and drive transformation.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage resistance, and adapt plans to ensure successful adoption.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, align expectations, and resolve issues.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, adjusting plans as needed to meet objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency and contribute to improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Marsh and regulatory standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Continually monitor and measure success.
What you need to have:
- Deep understanding of the London specialty market and products as defined / MGA / delegated authority models.
- Proven experience managing business projects within the insurance or financial services sector, preferably in Specialty insurance.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
